Mindset around Horses

It's been a productive couple of months. So many different horses and therapies used for them 😊❤️

Two quotes that spoke to me.

Quote 1:

I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination. - Jimmy Dean

When we are faced with situations weighing so heavy for everyone on both sides of the fence; Regardless, keeping our goals or setting some, instead of focusing so hard on the great divide, we can make a better version of ourself and still create something positive.

Quote 2:

It is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult task which, more than anything else, will affect its successful outcome. - William James

With every clients horse I have to center my mind on the horse and what they show me. The horse can feel when I'm not in the right frame of mind nor if the owner is that day too. This goes for all of us working with horses. Even when we go out to just feed, it's an opportunity for training not only our horses, but our minds to understand, be more aware, and become more intuitive and sensitive to our horses.

What can be done to communicate better with them in a way that doesn't cause them to go over dangerous thresholds. In a way that makes them want to seek out the answer.

Our attitude is everything for all situations. Training our mind to control our attitude is important for the outcomes we should look to achieve. Practice makes perfect and with that said... just start... and kick your own self in the butt when you feel your attitude shift in the wrong direction. Reflection and attitude ❤️

New trials and tribulations result in growth if we only push ourselves through it versus staying stuck in it.
